ISPO 2019: Camp De Base

L’Effet Caféine, a French spatial design agency with over 10 years of experience in space planning and brand visibility, partnered with designlaboratory* to create an engaging stand solution for Camp de Base at ISPO Munich 2019, the largest trade fair for the sports business. The goal was to craft a space that embodied the values of outdoor adventure while promoting sustainability. designlaboratory* designed a new layout and visual identity for the stand, using recovered materials and incorporating elements inspired by outdoor activities like trekking and climbing to create a memorable, eco-conscious experience.

The stand design drew on elements of mountain trekking for way-finding and communication, with vibrant ropes adorning the space to evoke the spirit of climbing. The design made the Camp de Base stand stand out within the larger exhibition while also fostering a sense of warmth, friendliness, and energy. The use of eco-designed materials ensured the stand aligned with sustainability goals, all while capturing the spirit of adventure. By combining visibility with environmental mindfulness, the stand successfully showcased outdoor sports brands in an innovative and impactful way.
