Luxottica Group is a global leader in the design, manufacture and distribution of premium, luxury, and sports eyewear. Their extensive portfolio includes brands like Ray-Ban, Oakley, Vogue Eyewear, Persol, Oliver Peoples, Alain Mikli, Arnette, and licensed brands such as Giorgio Armani, Burberry, Bulgari, Chanel, Dolce&Gabbana, DKNY, Ferrari, Michael Kors, Miu Miu, Paul Smith, Prada, Ralph Lauren, Starck Eyes, Valentino, and Versace.

Each year, designlaboratory* produces a series of trend report zines for Luxottica, summarising research, findings, and forecasts on lifestyle, innovation, fashion, and social trends. The reports feature a four-booklet pack covering materials, technology, innovation, fashion, and social trends, including a 3D glasses element based on additive manufacturing insights.

Following completion of the reports, designlaboratory* runs interactive workshops with Luxottica. These workshops include a presentation of the trends and evolve into hands-on sessions, allowing Luxottica to connect the dots and implement the insights into their strategy for future innovation.
